Emergency Procedures at Sams Art House

If an earthquake should happen whilst students are at Sams Art House, they will drop and cover, turn away from the windows, and stay under the tables until the shaking stops.

Once the shaking has stopped and if we decide the studios need to be evacuated the teacher in charge will evacuate students to the dog park area behind/below Sams Art House Ngaio studio and into Sams back garden at our Khandallah Studio.

If we do not need to evacuate the studios all students will remain at the studios until a parent or listed pick up person comes to pick the student up.  No child will be allowed to leave with an unidentified adult.

We are aware pick up may take time so we will remain with the student until all are picked up.  Please be aware we have families to get to as well in an emergency.
